Two centuries after the outlaw Erik the Red had misnamed this treeless ice-covered island "Greenland", ten emaciated Norsemen clambered out of a rowboat and onto the pack ice. The clubsmen expected to harvest the first available meat of the year, but instead they found only a volley of Thule arrows. The Skrælings (the Thule and Tunit tribes) have superior numbers and Arctic survival skills.
